Etsy lets you easily populate listings with similar information by copying your existing listings. Being able to easily duplicate existing Etsy listings is vital to adding new products to your Etsy shop. Copying your listings can drastically decrease the time it takes to list a new product on Etsy.
How to copy an Etsy listing
There are two ways to copy an Etsy listing. The first is through the Etsy listings page, and the second is through a listing. Both methods are very similar. The only difference is where you find the settings button to make the copy.
How to get to the Etsy listings page
To copy your Etsy listings, you must first navigate to the Etsy listings page. To do this, log into Etsy, go to shop manager, then click listings. By default, Etsy shows all of your active listings. Select draft listings under Listing statuses to see your draft listings. This menu is on the right side of the screen.

Now that you’ve made it to the listings page, you can start copying your listings. The first way is to click the gear icon on one of your listings. Clicking this gear opens the listing’s settings menu. In this settings menu, click the Copy button. Clicking this opens a copy of the listing. Once you’ve made all of your changes, click Save as Draft or Publish Copy.

The other way to copy one of your listings is through a listing itself. While on the listings page, open one of your listings. Once open, you will see the manage button in the top right corner of the screen. After clicking manage, click copy. Clicking this opens a copy of the listing you were viewing. Once you’ve made all of your changes, click Save as Draft or Publish Copy.
Other ways to copy an Etsy listing
Copying Etsy listings is helpful if you only have one or two listings to make. However, if you have dozens or hundreds of listings, you will want to use a third-party bulk uploader or editor. One such program is Shop Uploader. Shop Uploader lets you quickly and easily create, manage, update, and delete your Etsy listings. To do this, you only need Shop Uploader’s upload excel template. Using Excel means copying an existing listing is as simple as copying and pasting the listing’s row.
